Congratulations, Steve! You were one of my most impactful teachers, though I only "studied" with you at Winston & Strawn's in-house NITA program back in the mid '80s. I've never forgotten the experience, and have so enjoyed reading your work in the following years. I wish you much joy in retirement.
Warmly, Jen Brown, Dean and Professor of Law, Quinnipiac University School of Law

Steve, thanks for all that I know that you gave to your students, because I know what you have given to all of us from your platform as public teacher/scholar. I hope that you still will use some "marker" to write for all of us, and that you will have lots of other fun. Congratulations and Happy Thanksgiving!

Yasher koach (if that’s appropriate usage).! Thank you for everything you’ve done for the legal academy.
