Even though SCOTUS is sure to decline this, might Texas use this to say the election result is tainted and either refuse to recognize Biden as president or seek to leave the union?
I think they'd get more than a little support from at least a few states for either course of action.

Good point about how far we've come. In the old case the states were declaring themselves unlinked and in the new case Texas is arguing that they are linked.
