Game of Papers/Game of Thrones

This McSweeney's piece suggested quotations from The Princess Bride that double as comments on paper (I have used "I do not think it means what you think it means"). I wondered: What quotations from Game of Thrones might serve a similar function? The obvious one is "You know nothing, Jon Snow."

What else can serve this function?

"I did warn you not to trust me." - Littlefinger

I agree that GOT quotes fit faculty governance and academia generally perhaps more often than reviewer notes (although that works too). I also think that many are like a Rorschach Test in that they go to personal memories/applications in many ways. That said - here are some more nice GOT zingers to apply:

"The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." - Ned

"Fear cuts deeper than swords." - Arya

"Everyone is mine to torment." - Goffrey

"I'm sure cutting off heads is very satisfying, but that's not the way you get people to work together." - Sansa

"The day will come when you think you are safe and happy, and your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth." - Tyrion

"Burn them all!" - Aerys

"Chaos is a ladder." - Littlefinger

"The big fish eat the little fish and I keep on paddling" - Varys

GOT seems to work better for faculty governance than for comments on papers.

"Winter is coming." - Might be a nice reminder for everyone that they need to finish their grading.

"A Lannister always pays his debts." - Associate Dean explaining to Professor X who has just returned from sabbatical that she will be sitting on 9,000 committees during the next school year.

"When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground." - Associate Dean of Research's email pumping everyone up for article submission season.

When things are very wrong, write "No." I drink, and I No things.
