Welcome to August and to our returning guests--Shima Baughman (Utah), David Fontana (GW), and Rhett Larson (ASU).

Remember that Redyip will be seen in a couple of weeks.

Sorry for the delay in the angsting thread. Suggestions on the appropriate time for the "spring" thread would be appreciated. January 20?

Good luck with that. In the Spring, we had to practically beg to get the powers-that-be to give us an angsting thread.

Lots of movement already on fall submissions cycle. Could we please have a post for comments?

Many offers and many rejections have gone out already.

There's definitely activity now, per Scholastica's own analysis of a few days ago: http://blog.scholasticahq.com/post/law-review-data-series-part-1/. I've received rejections and offers already, as have colleagues.

There are journals reading now. Columbia opened July 26, e.g. Too early, in my opinion. But I don't (yet) make the rules.
