Glad to Be Here

Hello everyone.  I'm delighted to be blogging here this month, and I want to thank Dan for the invitation to jump aboard.  I should say that it's taken me a long time to warm up to the blogging idea.  I think the first time Dan and I discussed my possibly doing a guest stint here a couple of years ago, I said something like, "what would I talk about, this rash I've got?" (incidentally, it was quite an interesting rash--pityriasis rosea--marked by the arrival of a single and relatively large "herald patch," which disappears after two weeks only to be replaced by a more traditional, though painless and even itchless, torso rash).

About a month ago, though, I started my own blog called Holy Hullabaloos, which was initially intended simply to promote a book I have coming out in June called Holy Hullabaloos: A Road Trip to the Battlegrounds of the Church/State Wars, but I quickly learned that blogging is incredibly fun, and so I'm looking forward very much to being here this month.

I have a lot of posts planned, including some stuff about writing my book, a few posts from the last month at Holy Hullabaloos, some half-baked substantive ideas from my fields of writing and research (law and religion, administrative law, environmental law, natural resources law), and a bunch of things about being a prawf, becoming a prawf, evolving as a prawf, and other generally prawfie stuff.

Looking forward to your posts, especially the prawfie stuff. Do you worry about blog overexposure?
