Paul Horwitz on Jeopardy this Wednesday March 21st!!

Paul, it's a shame that I have to rely on my spies at our former place of employment for this titillating piece of news, but there it is. Paul Horwitz will be on Jeopardy this week. (I am told it will be on Wednesday!) Here's a picture of our friend. No doubt he's sworn to secrecy regarding how he did. But I for one look forward to a retrospective from our witty and wise collaborator here...
This is doubly exciting considering that Jack Chin was on the Daily Show not too long ago; doubtless, our readership should spike this month given our improved Q rating.

That was a bummer.

Thanks, everyone. CL, I would say it feels great, but due to a little-noticed clause in my contract here, a substantial portion on all proceeds on income earned from outside work must be paid over to Prawfsblawg-Markel Pties. Ltd., d/b/a South Florida Swampland Improvement Investments, a Nigerian corporation. Joseph -- unless you have a very large screen, it turns out that Alex is taller in person than he is on television.

My Thursday appearance will be preempted in South Bend by a basketball game -- who would have figured? Basketball? In Indiana?!? -- so I hope folks will let me know how I did.

Nice job, very cool and collected. I was yelling "what is a baby split!" after the first question, but was extremely impressed thereafter.

So, um, what is Alex T. really like?

Good job, Prof. Horwitz! How's it feel to have $30K more in the bank? ;)

Nice job. I missed the chit chat part though.

Good buzzer work.

Cathy Lanctot from Villanova Law will be on in June, I believe. It's a prime year for law profs, apparently.

As a Canadian reader I just hope he fesses up to his Canadian roots.
