This morning marks the onset of our two day Young Scholars Public Law Workshop for past and future bloggers with PrawfsBlawg. Steve Vladeck and I are thrilled and grateful to the University of Miami School of Law for hosting us. The focus of the workshop is to give young scholars a place to ventilate ideas for scholarship while they are still in the early stages of development. In addition to Steve and myself, participants include David Zaring (Washington and Lee School of Law), Lesley Wexler (Florida State University College of Law), Ben Depoorter (University of Miami School of Law), Mario Barnes (University of Miami School of Law), Aya Gruber (Florida International University College of Law), Jason Solomon (University of Georgia School of Law), Mark Fenster (University of Florida Levin College of Law), and Jennifer Collins (Wake Forest University School of Law). As to the structure: presentations will last about 5-10 minutes, and then there will be 50 minutes of questions per paper. All the participants have read the paper in advance. If it goes well, we may do another one in the spring. If you're interested, let me know.
