"Mixed blogging"

Here's Professor Bainbridge's long post on "mixed blogging," which was a topic of conversation at the recent law-blogging confab in Cambridge.  Bainbridge is commenting on, among other things, Larry Solum, Eric Muller, Ann Althouse, Larry Ribstein, and others on "bloggership" v. "mixed blogging" (or, as Larry R. calls it, "hobby blogging").  I think the "mixed blogs" of Bainbridge and Althouse (and others) are great, and can see the attraction of "mixed blogging."  At the end of the day, though, I am just not interesting enough to pull it off.
