Hello Laura

I'm pleased to announce that Laura Appleman is joining the PrawfsBlawg ranks for the next few weeks.  Laura is a public defender with the Center for Appellate Litigation in New York.  She is a Yale Law grad who clerked for Judge Tashima on the 9th Circuit -- so her good sense is assured :-) 

Laura starts teaching as a VAP at Hofstra's law school this August, where she will teach and write about criminal law, legal ethics, and perhaps legal history too.  She also contributes to a blawg about legal ethics, www.legalethicsforum.com, along with folks (and regular PrawfsBlawg commentors) like Brad Wendel and John Steele.
