Jolly Good Fellows: An Update
Just a quick update to my earlier post on the prevalence of fellows, VAPs, etc. in this year's crop of entry-level hires. Larry has updated his list, and the proportion of fellows in the earlier version seems to be holding steady so far: of the 12 new hires he has added to the list, five are coming from fellowships, VAPs, and so on. I won't add an update every time he does; but the figure certanly bears watching and discussion. Perhaps the old order changes.
